Yi Run for Her Safety

On 29th December 2024, at The Stadel, Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata, holds an inspiring and action-packed day dedicated to safety, empowerment, and community. It’s a Sundowner Run, the first of its kind in the city of Kolkata.

Event Highlights:

1. Self-Defense Workshop with Aparna Rajawat (2:30 PM - 3:45 PM):
Led by Aparna Rajawat, a 16-time Martial Arts Champion and Guinness World Record Holder for conducting the largest self-defense workshop with over 7,000 participants.
Aparna is also the face behind the Pink Belt Mission and the subject of an upcoming documentary by an Oscar-winning director.
In her 75-minute session, she will empower participants with practical self-defense techniques and motivational insights that are vital for personal safety and confidence.

2. Sundowner Run for Her Safety (4:00 PM - 5:00 PM):

A scenic 2km and 5km run starting from The Stadel to Karunamoyee and back.
This unique sundowner run symbolizes the importance of self-defense and safety awareness, open to everyone.
Participants will receive a customized T-shirt, medal, and bib.
This event is not just about fitness, it’s a powerful movement for safety and empowerment.
